Meet Boogie, a friendly lab/pit mix who lives in Hastings-on-Hudson

Rivertown Pets is a series where we feature local pets. Meet Boogie!

Hastings-on-Hudson — Boogie is a friendly two-and-a-half-year-old mixed breed (most likely a Labrador/Pit mix) who loves meeting people and dogs. His human, Spencer, describes him as “very loving” and says “his favorite thing is people.”

Boogie was rescued from a local shelter where he was one of eight puppies in a litter. Boogie’s time was almost up — but luckily for Boogie, his family adopted him. Now, he gets to spend his time with people who adore him.

Boogie has two human sisters, but is the only pet in his household.

When he’s not running around playing with other dogs or greeting people, Boogie enjoys chewing on cow femurs.

If you see Boogie when you’re out and about in Hastings-on-Hudson, be sure to say hello, even if you don’t have any cow femurs with you. He’ll like you anyway.
